Whilst touring the centre of the magical island of Sri Lanka, FarCry is a wonderful stop over when visiting the historical sites of Kandy, Sigiriya & Dambulla or the beaches of Pasikuda.

1. Dambulla
Drive time : 2 hours

The rock of Dambulla is the most ancient Buddhist cave-temple complex established in 3rd century B.C and remains highly preserved. Ornate shrine rooms encompass intricate paintings and skillfully carved statues relating to Buddhism.

2. Kandy
Drive time : 2.5 hours

Kandy, the last capital of the ancient kings is the islands most celebrated cultural city. The Temple of the Tooth Relic, enthralling Kandyan dancers and drummers performing an art passed down through generations and scenic mountains and waterways can all be seen in this city.

3. Sigiriya
Drive time : 2.5 hours

A UNESCO World Heritage site and considered the Eighth Wonder of the World, Sigiriya is an ancient rock fortress and palace built by King Kashyapa in 477 AD. Rising dominantly over its surroundings, Sigiriya entails an extensive network of reservoirs, frescoes depicting graceful women and a once splendorous palace at the summit.

4. Pasikuda
Drive time : 2.5 hours

Set on the east coast of the island, soft golden sand and pristine blue waves mingle as palm trees gently wave overhead. An inlet of shallow water, Pasikuda is one of the islands finest beaches.
